Fife Lecture Series

The Fife Honor Lecture is named in memory of Utah State University folklorists Austin and Alta Fife. The Fife Honor Lecture has been a USU tradition for over thirty years and honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the study and preservation of folklore. Past speakers include Nick Spitzer (Host of Public Radio International's "American Routes"), Trudier Harris (University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill), Carl Lindahl (University of Houston), Burt Feintuch (University of New Hampshire), and Peggy Seeger (folk singer).
