How to Apply

Students interested in applying to the Folklore Program should contact both Lisa Gabbert, Director of the Folklore Program, and Christine Cooper-Rompato, the Director of Graduate Studies.

Prospective students must submit an application form, which is available from the School of Graduate Studies. Students must indicate specifically on the form that they are interested in the Folklore Program. In addition to the application form, prospective students should submit three letters of recommendation, school transcripts, test scores, and a writing sample. The deadline for applying to the Folklore Program is January 15 for admission for the Fall Semester.
