Complete the Folklore Minor Online
Students of USU's regional campuses and online programs can now earn the 15-credit folklore minor, which includes such courses as folk narrative, regional folklore, American folklore, and a variety of special topics courses ranging from children's folklore to folklore and the Internet to the supernatural. Classes are taught by USU's outstanding folklore faculty as well as by visiting folklore scholars, providing online students the opportunity to interact with folklorists from around the country. Students at the Logan campus are welcome to earn the minor online as well, either entirely through online classes or with some online and some face-to-face classes. A minor in folklore makes an excellent complement to many undergraduate degrees; employers and graduate schools appreciate the unique perspective that folklore studies offers to other fields. Please contact Lynne McNeill, the director of online programming for the folklore program, if you would like further information or if you have any questions.
