How to Apply
The Folklore program offers a Master’s degree in American Studies with a concentration in either Folklore or Public Sector Folklore. The graduate program attracts students from around the world, including India, China, Austria, the Navajo Nation, Mongolia, Iceland, the Ukraine, Japan, Sweden, Canada, Romania, and Germany. Students in the Folklore Program also conduct research internationally. Our students have traveled as far as China and stayed as close as Cache Valley.
The Folklore Program has placed a number students in PhD programs. In recent years, our students have entered PhD programs at:
